Evan Dadson

Bio

Evan had the opportunity to shadow research in Dr. Gao’s research group through the 2019 Summer Research and Innovation Program sponsored by the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM). He studied the use of GO as an adsorbent for water purification under the guidance of Dr. Danni Cui. He was able to present this research at the 2019 Summer Research Symposium put on by NCSSM. His initial research interest were in materials chemistry and textiles engineering. He expects to graduate in May of 2020 and start college in the Fall. Thanks to this experience he gained a sense of curiosity in environmental and organic chemistry which he looks forward to pursing in the future.
